Hudson to start against Sydney Kings

The Breakers will leave centre Alex Pledger to come off the bench in tonight's Australian basketball league encounter with Sydney Kings.

Pledger hasn't trained during most of the week, aiming to get on top of ankle injury suffered a few weeks ago.

Coach Andrej Lemanis says Will Hudson will take the starting role.

"It's hard to start someone if they haven't practiced all week, so more than likely we'll go with Will and let Pledge find his way into the game."

A win will extend the Breakers' winning streak to 11 games.
