The New Zealand Breakers have got payback against the Perth Wildcats tonight with a comprehensive 98-81 victory at Vector Arena in Auckland. It's the Breakers' 10th win in a row and they sit proudly on top of the table with an 18-3 record. After trailing 24-18 after the first quarter the Breakers surged into the lead, outscoring the Wildcats 34-18 in the second quarter and 29-19 in the third. Cedric Jackson top scored for the home side with 22, with Corey Webster and CJ Bruton adding 14 each. Matthew Knight led the Wildcats with 16 points. Photo: Photosport |
