Police searching for disabled boy's parents

By: Anna Cross | Latest Wellington News | Saturday May 12 2012 11:44

Porirua police are trying to find the parents of an intellectually disabled boy found at the local netball courts this morning.

The boy was found at the Mungavin Avenue Netball Courts around 9am.

He's a six or seven year-old, possibly Middle Eastern, and is wearing a black T-shirt, blue track pants and no shoes.

He's unable to tell police his name and is being cared for at the Porirua police station.

Anyone who knows the identity of the child or his parents is asked to contact police.
