Power restored to 2000 Wellington residents

| Latest Wellington News | Thursday October 18 2012 6:28

Around two thousand people in Wellington are thought to have been affected by a power cut in the city early this morning.

A cable fault caused the outage in central Wellington and Brooklyn at around 2am this morning.

A Wellington electricity spokesman says it was restored again within an hour and the outage isn't thought to have caused any major problems.
