Business owners to look at earthquake initiatives

By: Alexia Russell | Latest Wellington News | Tuesday April 24 2012 8:36

Wellington's inner-city building owners will get some earthquake strengthening questions answered today.

The Inner-City Association and the City Council will look into current policies, the lessons from the Christchurch earthquakes and new initiatives.

Councillor Iona Pannett says it's a chance for the owners to express issues and for the parties to hear each other.

There are ongoing investigations into earthquake-prone buildings in the capital.
