Search continuing in Wellington Harbour

The search continues for one man missing in the Wellington harbour after a dinghy sank this afternoon.

Two men were aboard the dinghy when it went down and one of them managed to swim to shore, however another is yet to be located.

Police currently have two police launches, a Coastguard launch and Westpac helicopter searching for the missing man.

It is thought neither of the boaties was wearing a life jacket.
