Full moon brings nudists together

By: Shani Annand-Baron | Latest Wellington News | Wednesday February 8 2012 6:55

A naturist group is calling for people to be at one with the elements when the full moon appears tonight.

Free Beaches has organised a moonlit gathering at Peka Peka Beach on the Kapiti Coast.

Wellington Free Beaches president Linda Geeves says the event aims to make the most of the moon phase.

The event's already attracted some negative attention with police complaints about nudists being spotted at Peka Peka Beach.
