Police resume search for 74-year-old

Karori police are expected to resume their search for a missing 74-year-old this morning.

Mae Cairns was last seen on Monday night at her home address.

She's known to walk regularly in the Karori Cemetery area.

Ms Cairns is described as of extremely small build and is believed to be wearing a white top, blue jeans and black shoes.

Police are holding a briefing on the situation at 7am.
