New Plunket centre opening in Wellington

By: Jacqui Stanford | Latest Wellington News | Saturday October 13 2012 6:07

A new Plunket Centre worth nearly two million dollars will open today at Johnsonville in Wellington.

It's the result of a bequest to Johnsonville Plunket six years ago by local pharmacists Buster and Maureen Thomas.

Onslow Branch Plunket President Erin Downs says the generosity of the couple will benefit the community for years to come.

She says the new centre will offer much needed additional services.
