Residents asked to keep eye on Waikato River

By: Newstalk ZB staff | Upper North Island News | Tuesday June 19 2012 13:42

Residents bordering the Waikato River are being asked to look out for suspicious objects as police search for a missing woman.

Eunki Kim has been missing for two weeks after her vehicle crashed into the river off a city bridge.

Sergeant Craig Singer says as water levels fluctuate, landowners need to keep an eye out for objects of concern.

He says they also want to hear from a 40-year-old man driving a silver or white Mazda 323, who was of the original witnesses to the crash.
