Man airlifted to hospital during league match

A man has been airlifted to hospital after sustaining leg injuries whilst playing rugby league.

A local ambulance attended the incident near Reporoa but called the helicopter for assistance.

The 35-year-old Putaruru man is in a comfortable condition in Rotorua Hospital.
