Senior students of Moerewa School have been given two weeks to enrol in another school.
Education Minister Hekia Parata told the Northland school to shut down its senior satellite classes and replaced the board of trustees with a Government commissioner after they defied her order this week.
Former board member Alb Baker says family members are looking at other education options for their children.
"The ministry have given us a two week window of opportunity to get our kids off the site, so at the moment whanau are meeting with other kura so that we can move all of our kids off together, and enrol them into another school."
Alb Baker says enrolling in other schools is only a short-term option as they community will continue to fight to return the students to Moerewa.
