Police confirm identity of woman found near Clutha River

Police have confirmed the identity of the woman found on the banks of the Clutha River yesterday.

She was Amberley Rose Findlay, aged 21, of Kaitangata.

A post mortem examination was carried out this afternoon and Detective Sergeant Kate Bartlett of the Balclutha police says they've scaled down their investigation and referred the matter to the coroner.
