Helicopter search heads to Secretary Island

A helicopter carrying police and searchers will be reaching Secretary Island in Doubtful Sounds about now.

They will be carrying out a shoreline search for two missing men after their crayfishing boat sank on Monday.

The search is being timed to take place around low tide.

Police say as time passes they are less optimistic of a positive outcome in their search.
