Woman remains critical following Otago crash

By: Jacob Brown | Lower South Island News | Sunday September 23 2012 14:56

A 31-year-old woman remains critically injured in hospital, after a road smash in Otago last night.

The car she and her family were travelling in lost control on a bend on State Highway 1 at Palmerston.

Their baby girl escaped with just a minor injury, which police say is only because she was in a quality child restraint.

The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
