Police seeking information on shot 22-year-old

By: Sophie Lowery | Lower North Island News | Thursday September 13 2012 11:57

Police are appealing for information after a 22-year-old man was yesterday left in Taupo Hospital's carpark with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police believe the incident took place in the Mangakino area, before the man was dropped off.

His injuries are not life threatening.

Detective Sergeant Tony Manunui says the man is keeping tight-lipped about how the incident happened.

He says police will be talking to the man's associates today.
