Concern for missing woman's safety

By: Nina Burton | Latest Dunedin News | Saturday April 7 2012 11:06

South Island police are making further inquiries over a missing 33-year-old Dunedin woman after finding her car.

Senior Sergeant Gavin Briggs says her white 2008 Holden Viva hatchback was abandoned in Oamaru.

Police are asking people to be on the lookout for a woman who's been missing since Thursday.

They're concerned for the safety of Karen Bonnie McCreath.

Senior Sergeant Gavin Briggs says she's 33-years-old and of European descent.

"She has blue eyes, medium length brown hair, thin build and she's approximately 170cm in height."

He says if anyone who sees her they're urged to contact police immediately.
