Fletcher Building jobs for 26 beneficiaries

26 beneficiaries have found work with Fletcher Building in Christchurch.

The company says it's working with Work and Income to promote employment opportunities in the construction sector.

Spokeswoman Kate Daly says a Work and Income programme manager will be based at at Fletcher Building's head office and will oversee the company's employment and development partnership with the Government.

She says having a Work and Income manager in-house will allow the company to better identify people who are eager to work, but may need extra assistance in finding the right path.
