Large scale pursuit in Christchurch

Christchurch police have taken a man into custody after a large scale pursuit.

The chase started in Woodend and ended in Belfast's Gutheries Road.

There have been reports up to 15 police cars were involved.

A police spokeswoman says they've taken a man into custody and there were no injuries.
