Power outage in north-eastern Chch

Power's been cut to homes in north-eastern suburbs of Christchurch.

It's thought the outage is due to a possible lines fault, which is reportedly cutting power to traffic lights in some areas.

Orion's website lists the area affected as Saint Albans and states electricity is likely to be back on by 7.30pm.
