Demand up for tradespeople in Chch

By: Nina Burton | Latest Christchurch News | Wednesday August 8 2012 8:02

There are any number of jobs available for tradespeople in Christchurch.

Managing Director Jason Walker says the latest Hays Quarterly Report shows demand for builders and trades skills is being driven by the rebuild.

"If you have got a qualification and you have got a good set of references and experience behind you, you will find a job in Christchurch."

Mr Walker says the only problem for people wanting to work in Canterbury is finding accommodation.
