Experts controlling this weekend's building implosion in Christchurch say dust may cause irritation with people suffering respiratory conditions.
They're suggesting all windows, doors and air intakes in the immediate vicinity are closed, and any other openings be covered.
Anyone with respiratory conditions aggravated by dust, is being advised to stay indoors during the implosion.
Ceres spokesman Bill Johnson says the usual precautions should be taken on Sunday.
"We want people to take the same precautions that they would take given the amount of dust that's been happening in that area."
The implosion gets underway at 8am Sunday.
