Police leave scene of bus smash

Police have left the scene in Christchurch where a bus smashed into a power pole leaving power lines down.

The concrete pole was snapped in half by the force of the collision.

Two passengers were taken to hospital, one with serious injuries, following the incident.

A handful of linemen remain at the scene sorting isolated power issues, just five homes are affected and without power.
