Calls to replace bridge after quake damage

By: Jacob Brown | Latest Christchurch News | Wednesday February 8 2012 10:32

There are calls for action on one of Christchurch's main suburban links to speed up, with one resident concerned over its future.

The Ferrymead Bridge is set to be replaced following months of prolonged earthquake damage.

Sumner resident Erin Baker says the bridge is now more vital than it's ever been, given the damage to the roads in general.

She wants clearer communication as to what exactly is happening with the bridge replacement.
