New AT Hop card on the way

By: Newstalk ZB staff | Latest Auckland News | Monday August 27 2012 7:09

Out goes the Snapper Hop, in comes the AT Hop and it's a case of one hop at a time.

Auckland Transport's new card for use on the city's trains and ferries is coming.

The New Zealand Herald reports they can be used on trains from the end of October and on ferries from the end of November.

But buses are a little more problematic, with no date set.

For now passengers can keep using their Snapper Hop.

All of this comes as Auckland Transport tries to untangle the complicated process of trying to deliver one card which works on all three forms of transport.
