No more excuses for public transport system delays - Len Brown

By: Annabel Reid | Latest Auckland News | Tuesday May 8 2012 14:36

Auckland's mayor wants a stop to delays to an integrated public transport system in the city.

The $98 million system will see public transport users able to have one card for ferries, buses and trains.

There are reports the plan's been held up by Snapper and NZ Bus not installing the technology for over 650 buses.

Len Brown says Auckland's been waiting too long for the system and the time for excuses has passed.

He's urging all parties to complete the project.
