Waka Pacific buses halting work this afternoon

By: Natasha Burling | Latest Auckland News | Friday August 31 2012 8:39

A hundred buses that service South Auckland will be off the road between midday and 2.30pm today.

Waka Pacific buses won't be running due to a stop-work meeting for Tramways and First Union members.

LINK, Metrolink, North Star, GO West and buses operated by Ritchieâ s Transport, Howick & Eastern, Birkenhead Transport, Urban Express, Waiheke Buses, Northern Express and Airbus services are not affected.

There'll be no impact on school bus services either.

NZ Bus says passengers can use trains or another bus service in South Auckland.
