Police warning cancels big North Shore party

Publicity about a big party on Auckland's North Shore, and about local police intentions to turn up, has torpedoed the event.

A thousand people had indicated their intention to attend the event in Beach Haven.

That sparked a Facebook warning from the local community cop, and now, it's cancelled.
