Reminder for Aucklanders about motorway closures

Auckland motorists are warned parts of the Southern Motorway will be closed this evening.

NZTA's replacing the Dilworth footbridge which runs across the rail line and Southern Motorway between Mt Hobson Road and Mauranui Ave.

The main span of the footbridge is being assembled on the Newmarket Viaduct Replacement project site, and will be installed this evening.

It means all the lanes of State Highway One heading south between Gillies Ave off-ramp to Greenlane off-ramp will be closed between 8 this evening and 5 tomorrow morning.

Lanes in the other direction will be closed from 11 tonight until 5 tomorrow morning.
