Man's death turned over to coroner

The death of a man whose body was found off Takapuna Beach in Auckland, is now in the hands of the Coroner.

Police and the Navy recovered Mark Thomas from the water last night.

The 52-year-old had been missing since Wednesday when he set off on a paddle-boarding trip.
