EMA backing economic strategy for Auckland

By: Nina Burton | Latest Auckland News | Friday September 14 2012 14:12

The Employers and Manufacturers Association is backing Auckland's Economic Strategy.

It's been launched today.

EMA CEO Kim Campbell says the plan is commendable and seems achievable.

He says while it's aspirational, it's is yet to be seen what individual resource goes into the various elements of it.

"But I think it's got quite a comprehensive variety of initiatives and I think it balances the social good and economic wellbeing at the same time."
