Big book sale at Auckland Central Library

It's out with the old and in with the new at Auckland Central Library.

Today marks the start of Auckland Central Library's big book sale.

To make room for new items, worn, damaged, and out-of-date books, CDs, DVDs and magazine go up for sale from today.

Central City Library manager Kate Roberts says to keep their collections fresh, they have to get rid of thousands of old items.

The sale lasts for a week, or until all the stock is gone.
