Auckland onramp reopening on track

By: Annabel Reid | Latest Auckland News | Monday October 1 2012 5:26

Welcome news to those who commute over Auckland's Harbour Bridge.

The much-anticipated reopening of the Wellington Street onramp is on track.

State Highways manager Tommy Parker says the on-ramp will re-open, as planned, in a week.

"There's very minor works just getting it ready for opening and that should be open as predicted."

The on-ramp was closed for the construction of the Victoria Park Tunnel, which was completed in November last year.
