Arson suspected in Manurewa house fire

By: Alexia Russell | Latest Auckland News | Wednesday October 17 2012 6:11

Auckland fire safety investigators are at the scene of a blaze in Manurewa that tore through a two storey house early this morning.

The house was unoccupied and arson is suspected.

Four crews were called to get it under control, which took about half an hour.

They're still there, dampening hot spots.

Neighbours of the Pallent Street house raised the alarm just after 3.30am.
