More consultation on future of Auckland's stadia

More consultation will be undertaken before a decision's made on the future of Auckland's stadia.

Auckland Council met today with the proposal from Regional Facilities Auckland on the table.

It suggests league move to Eden Park and the speedway move to Mount Smart.

Two submitters on the proposal were heard, both who oppose the plan because it'll have strong impacts on the stadia's neighbours.

The council has decided to undergo a further workshop with Regional Facilities Auckland.
