Queens Wharf transformed into ice rink

By: Anna Cross | Latest Auckland News | Friday September 28 2012 10:37

Winter may have ended, but Auckland's Queens Wharf has been transformed into an ice skating rink.

The rink is being launched today, and will be open everyday from midday until 10pm through until next Sunday, at no charge.

To mark the opening, at 12.30pm today, Olympic Gold medalist Valerie Adams will be at the ice rink to get things moving.
