Warning over Beach Haven open party

By: Annabel Reid | Latest Auckland News | Wednesday October 17 2012 8:02

The 1,000 young people planning on attending an open party in the Auckland suburb of Beach Haven are being encouraged to reconsider.

An open party invitation for Saturday night has gone viral on Facebook, with more than three thousand people invited.

But Beach Haven Community constable, Grant Kenny has sounded a warning to those who think they might pop along.

On his Facebook page, Constable Kenny's said he and his friend will be attending the party and will offer no tolerance and free accommodation, if it's required.

He says those planning on attending should grow up and do something worthwhile.
