Superette smashed by people mover

By: Tim Dower | Latest Auckland News | Saturday September 1 2012 9:12

The owner of an Auckland superette is picking up the pieces this morning, after a woman smashed her people mover into the shop.

It happened in Point Chevalier last night.

She was taken to hospital and police say the woman was speeding, overtaking on the painted meridian, and the vehicle mounted the footpath before ploughing into the store.
