Aucklanders to receive new rates bills

Some Aucklanders could get a shock today as they open their new rates bills.

The overall rates rise will be 3.6 percent.

But for some it will be a lot more than that.

Ratepayers on the North Shore, and in Waitakere and Rodney should be the first to get their rates bills today, with others due to receive them next week.
