Road works to begin on Auckland motorway

Road works begin on Auckland's Southern Motorway tonight, between Ramarama and Bombay.

The bridge maintenance work take until the end of October, and be carried out at night.

There'll be no work on Friday or Saturday nights to avoid disruption to weekend traffic.

The NZTA will have detours in place via Great South Rd.
