Public transport changes proposed

| Latest Auckland News | Friday October 5 2012 18:50

Aucklanders are being urged to give their feedback on proposed changes to public transport.

Auckland Transport has released a plan that would mean buses will run every 15 minutes along main routes, seven days a week, between 7am and 7pm.

Len Brown says it revolutionises the way public transport will be delivered to Aucklanders.

"There are a number of options as we go forward for consideration. Obviously we are looking for significant public feedback as we always do."

The plan aims to double public transport usage from 70 million trips a year to 140 million by 2022.
