Services return to normal following cable fault

By: Nina Burton | Latest Auckland News | Wednesday August 1 2012 9:54

Things are getting back on track in South Auckland.

An underground power cable this morning caused fire and explosions on the Weymouth over bridge.

Bus services were delayed, but the Manurewa transport interchange has re-opened, and services are returning to normal.

Trains are also operating again.

Vector has repaired the fault, and electricity is back on to all the 2000 customers who lost power.
