Police trying to identify dead jogger

By: Juliette Sivertsen | Latest Auckland News | Tuesday September 25 2012 18:23

Otara police are trying to identify a man who died while jogging in East Tamaki in Auckland.

The man was found at Otamariki Park this afternoon.

He's described as a male Maori or Pacific Islander, aged around 40, with distinctive facial tattoos and a dragon tattoo on his throat.

He was wearing lycra running shorts, a black lycra running top, black running shoes and a white cap, with a mohawk hairstyle.

Police have been working in the local area to locate anyone who may know who the man is, and want to hear from family members of anyone who may recognise the description of the man.
