Fieldays shaping up well

By: James Williams | Latest Rural News | Friday June 15 2012 10:29

The man in charge of the national Fieldays is pleased with how the event is shaping up.

Today is the third day of the event at the Mystery Creek Events Centre in the Waikato, and yesterday saw 30,647 people walk through the gates.

The total number of visitors in the first two days is more than 57,700.

Fieldays Society CEO Jon Calder says he's met with a number of exhibitors and attitudes are positive.

He says trade is thriving and he's confident final exhibitor sales results will reveal a productive presence.
