Fonterra supporting Trading Among Farmers introduction

With its departing Chair's seat still warm, the Fonterra Shareholders' Council has announced its overwhelming resolve to support the introduction of Trading Among Farmers.

The announcement came just an hour after it announced Chair Simon Couper's resignation, due to his lack of comfort with some aspects of the proposal.

The man who has filled his seat Ian Brown is now encouraging shareholders to get a good understanding of what is being proposed and have their say when the vote is held on the 25th of June.
