New gas and electrical rules to raise standards

By: Felix Marwick | Latest Political News | Thursday September 27 2012 15:23

New rules are being imposed on all gas and electrical trade work.

As of July next year, all gas and electrical installation work will have to be certified.

The Government says improving certification regimes will raise industry standards.

The rule changes will also require all high-risk work to be registered on a public database.
