By: Felix Marwick | Latest Political News | Wednesday June 13 2012 13:16

The Finance Minister is warning bad economic news out of Europe is going to continues for years to come.

Finance Minister Bill English says there are going to be periodic crises coming out of Europe for at least a decade, and perhaps longer because the size of their debt problem is so large.

"It is important we get used to this dark cloud on the horizon, it is there and it is not going away."

However Mr English says we have to be careful not to be paralysed by it and his greatest concern is the effect it's having on business confidence and decisions here.
