Tamihere not easing back on controversial calls

By: Newstalk ZB staff | Latest Political News | Sunday December 2 2012 6:47

John Tamihere says he has no plans to tone himself down, after re-joining the Labour Party.

The former MP and Cabinet Minister's party membership has been reinstated, after he was kicked out in 2005 for comments about women and homosexuals.

Tamihere says he's entitled to his point of view and won't ease back on making controversial calls.

He says there are too many fragile people in the Labour Party and he's eager to give them a rev-up.
