Govt outlines progress made against P

By: Katie Bradford-Crozier | Latest Political News | Tuesday November 27 2012 20:42

The price of the drug P appears to be reducing in the upper North Island - but despite that, the Government says good progress is being made in the fight against the drug.

Latest figures show the use of P has more than halved, from 2.2 percent of Kiwis using the drug in 2007 to just 0.9 percent now.

The price of the drug remains at around $100 per point, over 500 people have been through residential treatment beds and more people are seeking help.
