The Greens are crying foul over relations between officials in Steven Joyce's office and staff at SkyCity.
It has emerged members of Mr Joyce's staff discussed the release of an Auditor-General's investigation with people from the casino operator.
The Greens say it's totally inappropriate, and SkyCity chief Nigel Morrison is calling for the report to be issued urgently.
Greens co-leader Metiria Turei believes it's bullying, and says the situation is unacceptable.
"The whole point of the Auditor-General's report is investigating the process by which this deal has been started, and now we have Nigel Morrison effectively threatening the Government again.
"In my view it's a breach of government process."
But Steven Joyce is hitting back at Green Party suggestions.
Mr Joyce says the only information his officials discussed was when the report was coming out.
"Once again the Greens have shown that they are anti-jobs, and are determined to stop the convention centre at all costs, including spinning yarns."
